Annotated Bibliography. Develop an annotated bibliography for your Final Paper. First, review the assignment instructions for the Final Paper, found in Week Five of your online course or in the “Components of Course Evaluation” section of this guide. Make sure that two of the total five sources required for your Final Paper are found through the databases in the Ashford Online Library. You may use secondary sources which you have already located when completing previous assignments for this course. However, be sure that those sources still are relevant to your paper topic and thesis. (Often the paper topic and thesis evolve over the course of researching, so the topic or thesis which you began with may differ from that which you are now developing.)
For each secondary source, you will first cite the source in correct APA format. Then include a brief annotation, with APA style citation, for the source. The annotation must summarize the source in 4-5 sentences and explains its relevance to the selected short story and importance to the topic being discussed in the paper. These sources must be organized in alphabetical order by author as required in an APA reference page formatting.
The purpose of an annotated bibliography is to provide readers with more information about the sources used in the text. Developing your Final Paper’s annotated bibliography will help you hone your literary research skills, as well as develop critical analysis and writing skills needed to produce the Final Paper
